Sara joined David Self Family Law and Mediation in 2018. Sara previously worked as a Detective with the Crimes Against Children Unit of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department. This experience gave her the satisfaction of being able to help families have a better future. Her experience in law enforcement honed her skills of communication, advocacy, and empathy: a skill set that is very well suited to her role at David Self Family Law and Mediation.
Sara also brings a highly analytical and organized thought process to the office. Our clients tend to be in the midst of chaos when they arrive, and Sara strives to make sure they can relax knowing the team of David Self Family Law and Mediation is behind them and on their side.
Sara loves to read, but who are we kidding, she doesn’t have time for that!
Audio books to the rescue! And her favorite type of book? Murder mysteries (not surprising if you know she used to be a Forensic DNA Analyst).
