Born and raised in a small town in southeast Detroit, Lindsey’s roots in Michigan run deep. Lindsey has deep Michigan roots. Her mother, an accountant, and her father, a farmer, instilled in her a strong work ethic and a commitment to serving others. An athletic scholarship took her to college to play volleyball, but Lindsey ultimately graduated from Michigan State University’s law school, ready to make a difference.
Lindsey’s legal journey began with a role as a legal assistant at a family law office, where she quickly realized the emotional toll that domestic matters can have on clients. It was then that her career goals became crystal clear: to provide comfort, confidence, and expert legal representation during some of life’s most challenging moments.
While in law school, Lindsey worked at Eve, a women’s shelter in Lansing, Michigan, where she helped survivors of domestic violence navigate legal processes, including obtaining personal protection orders and addressing divorce and custody issues. Her passion for advocating for children and families led her to earn a Child and Family Advocacy Certificate from MSU.
Lindsey’s diverse experience also includes an internship at a private wealth management firm in Austin, Texas, specializing in estate planning, which she transitioned into a full-time role after graduation. This experience gave her a unique perspective on the financial intricacies involved in divorce and asset division, making her a valuable resource for clients navigating these complex issues.
Now a transplant to Charlotte, Lindsey is enjoying the area with her dog-child, Bane—a 4-year-old Dalmatian with a penchant for chasing rocks, eating socks, and going on hikes. When she’s not practicing law, you can find her coaching volleyball or reading mysteries (with a dramatic court case, of course).
Lindsey’s mission is simple: to empower clients with the legal support they need to navigate life’s toughest challenges with confidence and peace of mind.
