Brooke Gravante

Attorney

Brooke’s journey to family law is as much a product of destiny as it is of sheer persistence (and maybe a little bit of family pressure). Born and raised in Staten Island, New York, she grew up in a household where "justice" wasn’t just a buzzword—it was the dinner table topic. Both of her parents were attorneys in Brooklyn, so it’s no surprise that Brooke found herself with a deep connection to the legal profession early on. Watching her parents use their legal powers for helping people through tough situations sparked a fire in her to do the same. It’s probably a good thing she didn’t become a superhero, because she definitely has the right instincts to be one.

While earning both her undergrad and law degrees from the University of Connecticut (because why settle for one degree when you can get two?), Brooke spent time in the trenches at the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office where she quickly learned that navigating complex legal dynamics was a bit like navigating Brooklyn traffic: messy, frustrating, but ultimately satisfying when you reach your destination.

Later, Brooke got some hands-on experience working alongside her mom (a family law attorney), gaining a deep understanding of the emotional rollercoaster that is family law. Apparently, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree—Brooke found herself in the same line of work, helping families in crisis.

Recently, Brooke and family swapped the chaos of New York for the unpredictable roads of Lake Norman. With two kids, a husband, and rescue dog named Duke, she’s settling into the area and making her mark—one family at a time. She's excited to plant roots in the community and bring her compassionate, “let’s get this done” attitude to the local families who need her. When she’s not wrangling her crew or tackling family law cases, you can find Brooke either baking (and eating what she bakes) or running it off. After all, she’s not just a legal powerhouse; she’s a woman who can multitask like nobody’s business.
